Job Description

As a Security Operator with us, you will work with monitoring and reporting incidents. The purpose is to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors during access control.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Access control using X-ray and alarm gates for staff, patients, and visitors
• CCTV surveillance of the clinic area
• Operation of pedestrian and vehicle gates
• Patrolling and checking/reporting any deficiencies in perimeter and shell protection
• Handling and monitoring technical security systems
• Management of booking systems, keys, and key tags

About the Workplace

In our highly specialized operations, approximately 160 employees work. We have four inpatient wards with 55 beds, and in autumn 2026, another ward with 16 beds will open. The main task of the Access Control Unit is to manage access controls to the clinic as well as CCTV surveillance and patrolling of the clinic area.

The Access Control Unit is staffed 24/7, which implies shift work and weekend duties for our Security Operators. The unit consists of a unit manager, a security coordinator, a security technical coordinator, and several security operators.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a guard and/or security guard education. You also need to have a completed upper secondary education. Experience from guard/security duties is meritorious. Since you need to communicate with staff, patients, and other visitors in this role, good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is important. A B-class driver's license is also required for the position.

As a person, you are secure and stable. You take responsibility for your tasks and make correct assessments and prioritizations. You are accommodating in your interactions and collaborate well with others.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

Terms of Employment

Permanent position, full-time. Night shift. Location: Sala.

Start date: Upon agreement.
